Mini Shopping Haul

So I met up with a few friends today and ended up purchasing a few things from Boots. Nothing super exciting but I wanted to share it anyway, as that's what a blog is for, right ;)

#1- Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes | I've heard good things about these and as I'm off on holiday in a few weeks (Ibiza, woo!) I thought these would be good to use during the day as a way of freshening up whilst by the pool or on the beach.

#2-  Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation (100 Ivory) | Again, I've heard good things about this foundation and I've been after a new one for a while so I thought why not try this. I've been using various BB Creams for a couple of months now ( Garnier Miracle Skin Perfecter in Light and No7 Beautiful Skin in Fair) which are both very good.

#3- Essie nail polish in Sexy Divide and Beach Bum Blu | I've finally picked up something from Essie! The colours on offer are stunning and they're great for summer. At £7.99 each, they're definitely not at the cheaper end of nail polish but they're affordable.

May Favourites

I thought a favourites post would be a good way to kick off this blog, so here's a few things I found myself loving throughout May;

 *Barry M Nail Paint in 217. I recently found this in my room and have fallen in love with it all over again. The colour is just gorgeous.

*Entwined by Heather Dixon. I have yet to finish this but I am loving it so far. Very addictive and I can't wait to see how it ends.

I also bought these a few weeks ago:

*l-r: Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli, Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare & Wither by Lauren Destefano.

*Lost. One of televisions most addictive yet confusing shows of all time. I tend to get pretty bored in the evenings so I decided to start this from the beginning as it's been a few years since it finished.

*I've also found myself browsing these websites pretty frequently: pintrest and weheartit. Pintrest is amazing for a bit of everything, from make up to cooking to home decor, it's got it all. Love looking through all the images and getting ideas on things I can do myself. Weheartit is great for images to use on sites such as this one or tumblr (always linking back to the image of course).

My first post! I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to create a blog, i’ve always wanted to start but i’ve never really had any ideas about what to talk about or what to post. This was originally going to be a photography blog but after a bit of thought I decided that i'm just going to post a bit of whatever interests me at the time, so expect a mixture of posts!

As i’m still a beginner with the whole blog thing, please go easy on me ;) If you have any recommendations on how I can improve on here, just leave a comment or send me a message. Constructive criticism is always welcome!
